    I’ve lost 5kg in 2 1/2 months. It seems to work. Let’s see how it proceeds. What I find very disturbing is the impossibility to switch to a different language, and the all pervading US slang, which sounds offensive and sometimes difficult to understand for those, like me, who were taught British English. I also find unbelievably irresponsible the space granted to gluten-free diet. This diet should be prescribed by medical doctors, lest it be followed whimsically by uninformed people, who are neither be suffering from coeliac disease nor from “non coeliac gluten intolerance”, and might occur into some health damage by following a restrictive diet. Finally, there are bugs in the code. Today for instance I cannot go back in time and check the previous loggings.

    L’app sarebbe anche carina, a parte le frasette pseudo-motivazionali un po’ troppo esaltate… che possono creare dipendenza e temo che non sia un caso. Dopo aver perso i primi chili, io non sono più riuscita ad accedere al mio account. L’assistenza prima mi ha risposto che non c’era problema… ma poi il problema c’era eccome, e per ritornare nel programma avrei dovuto ricominciare da capo: pagamento compreso, naturalmente. Nel frattempo ho capito che provavo un senso di “mancanza”: si era creata una sorta di dipendenza, perché la dieta funziona grazie alla verifica dei pasti tre volte al giorno, che diventa una routine virtuosa. Esserne privati improvvisamente può spingere le persone pagare due volte la prova, pur di continuare. Prima dicono che il costo della prova sarà restituito… ma poi non ti ripristinano l’account, così il passato è cancellato. In un’altra recensione ho letto di un utente che non riesce a disiscriversi dai rinnovi automatici… Un vero peccato perché l’app è carina: se funzionasse anche la parte economica sarebbe davvero da consigliare. Da giorni mi stanno letteralmente tempestando di email per farmi riprendere (e pagare) da capo, ma ormai non mi fido più.

    Benedetto quel giorno che ho scaricato quest’app. 10kg persi in 4 mesi nel modo piú salutare possibile. Non ho mai ripreso peso (ormai sono 5 mesi che ho raggiunto il mio peso target), il mio modo di vedere il cibo e l’attività fisica sono drasticamente cambiati. Non sono MAI e dico MAI stata piú in forma di così (e ho speso valanghe di euro tra personal trainers e diete durante la mia vita). Con Noom ho imparato un sacco di cose che ormai fanno parte del mio stile di vita. In piú mi sono confrontata con persone di tutte le nazionalità e di tutte le età e ci siamo offerti supporto reciproco. I contenuti sono user-friendly e i coach sono sempre disponibili in caso di domande/difficoltà. Fosse per me, un percorso del genere lo renderei obbligatorio nelle scuole di tutto il mondo perchè impatta positivamente la salute in toto (psicologica, fisica ed emotiva). Ragazzi Noom è la vita.

    It’s the second time I use noom app. The first time was great: my coach Mauro was very smart and I was member of a group of person like me, very nice. I said to my husband to use noom for weighloss. So he did. But the second time I use the app was a disaster: my coach was often out for holiday, no support group for me this time, and finally they didn’t help me to stop for a while the program when I got sick (a surgery for a uterine mioma). It was very nasty. And not serious in my opinion. So if you want to try the program the first time is ok, just for a couple of months. But it isn’t useful if you are looking for something that can help you for long time.

  • Disappointing upgrade

    The updated free version is worse than before, only for people who use cup measurement and products we don’t use in Europe. For example for water there is no more the glass as a unit. Coffee? Yes I had a bowl of coffee, thank you. Very disappointed with your upgrade

    L’app funziona benissimo ed effettivamente aiuta a perdere peso e creare abitudini più sane… Le due stelle a causa del prezzo proibitivo. Inoltre attenzione! Vi dice che avete 14giorni gratis per provare l’app. Invece vi parte subito l’abbonamento mensile! Un furto!

    Il sistema Noom non è solo una dieta, ma un diverso approccio all’alimentazione. Dimagrisci gradatamente e con successo. SUPER!

    Also I'm not really loosing weight ( health problems in the middle) it's a great way to learn a lot about food and behavior and your relationship to food... Which will in any way prevent to gain further weight!!

    I authorized the suggested payment of 16 euros for the initial trial, I did not like the app at all, least of all the proposed program, I uninstalled then before the expiry of the trial period paid, nevertheless I received a charge of 109 euros , not allowed. contacted customer service I am told that there is no way to get a refund and that in their opinion it is my fault because I did not cancel the subscription, therefore in their opinion having authorized the first 16 euros they are also authorized to take another 109. ah also Erik from customer support closed the chat before I could read the last things he wrote to me, so not only do I not know how he concluded, he didn't even give me a way to reply, I found it really rude.
