iPad is something that is blocking me to fully switch to proton calendar

Ottima app per il calendario che si integra con il sistema di proton, ma sento alcune mancanze: un widget da poter mettere nella schermata di blocco e un widget 2x2 per la home. Con queste integrazioni potrebbe diventare da 5 stelle

Ok la sicurezza, ma l’usabilità non è meno importante. Per esempio non riesco a copiare/duplicare gli eventi.

I switched to protonmail.com as my online identity from gmail.com a few years ago and I’m very glad I have. While we can obviously never fully know what is going behind the scenes of companies, I have come to the conclusion that it has been worth paying for my proton plan during this time, as it is a service that has nurtured and valued its reputation for putting its focus on privacy and showing that it respects it as a value. I was also stunned by the rapid expansion in services, among them being Proton Calendar. While as an iPad and iPhone owner, using the native Apple Calendar app might seem tempting, the cross-compatibility with my non-Apple devices made me choose Proton Calendar. Even if it seemed in its utter infancy, the rapid development for Proton services made me hope their calendar app would follow. Nonetheless, it seems that on iOS, this app’s development has been completely and utterly abandoned. What prompted me to write this review is having noticed that with iOS 18, all Proton apps have received a dark-mode icon… except for Proton Calendar. This is without mentioning the lacking functionality and the fact that to this date, the iPad version does not even posses a full-screen function, bringing us back to 2013 when we used to download iPod apps on iPad. I hope the Proton Calendar development team is reactivated (because to me it looks like it’s non-existent). The work that has been done on Proton Pass is commendable and will hopefully be reproduced soon here. For now, my disappointment and sense of urgency for an update can only be conveyed with a rating of 1/5 stars.

Please release a widget, it’s essential.

From settings I can’t change my timezone. Still no widgets, no badges and no native iPad app.

Uso da più di un anno proton mail ed il suo servizio di VPN. Ma il calendario purtroppo rimane inutilizzabile rispetto a quanto servirebbe a me. Manca un widget decente e l’interfaccia è troppo minimale. Peccato perché mi faceva gola l’idea di un calendario rispettoso della privacy. Purtroppo finché non aggiungeranno almeno i widget mi tocca rimanere con quello di Apple

Partiamo dal presupposto che sto utilizzando il servizio a pagamento. 1- la app per iPad non è ottimizzata per iPad. Pertanto su iPad cancellata immediatamente. 2- manca la vista settimanale 3- il servizio calendario non è usufruibile su desktop (ad esempio non puoi configurarlo su Outlook). 4- aggiungendo calendari esterni (ad esempio il calendario iCloud) questi scaricano gli enenti già presenti sull’altro calendario ma non ha alcun tipo di sincronizzazione 5- estetica così minimale che sfiora l’essere “scarna” 6- una roba da niente.. ma non si può avere un icona dell’app più riconoscibile come calendario?? Diciamo che di tutta la suite Proton, il calendario è quella fatta veramente peggio. Mantengo l’abbonamento perché le altre app le uso, ma il calendario è inutile.

I think is very important to have the ability to choose between the 1 day, 2 days, 3 days view as it happens in Cron calendar views and also ability to use iCal account.
