Magnetic window snapping has never been easier! Organize and arrange your windows effortlessly. Align your windows precisely with SnapZones’ intuitive controls! Configuration: To set up SnapZones and grant the necessary permissions, follow the tutorial screen that appears when you first launch the app. If you need to revisit the tutorial, simply click the “?” button in the SnapZones menu popover. Choose from predefined layouts tailored to the most common display aspect ratios, such as 16:9, or create your own unique layouts using the Layout Configurator. You can design as many layouts as you like for each of your displays! Layout Configurator: To create a new layout, click the “+” button in the SnapZones menu popover for the display you want to configure. This will open the Layout Configurator for that display. As you move your mouse, a horizontal bar will appear. Click your left mouse button to place it. To create a vertical bar, move your mouse while holding the Shift key, and then click your left mouse button. Drag the bars to adjust their positions and fine-tune your layout. Once your layout is ready, click the “Save” button in the SnapZones menu popover. The new layout will be named after your display resolution by default. To rename it, use the “Name-Tag” button in the menu popover. Need to make adjustments? Click the “Pencil” button to re-enter the Layout Configurator and tweak your layout. If you no longer need a layout, simply click the “Trash Can” button in the menu popover to delete it. This streamlined process ensures creating, editing, and managing your layouts is quick and intuitive! Hold the Shift key while dragging a window to make your selected layout appear. Move the window to your desired zone (tile) and drop it—while still holding the Shift key. The window will automatically resize to match the dimensions of the selected zone*! Want more flexibility? Hold both the Shift and Control (Ctrl) keys simultaneously while dragging a window to select multiple zones. When you drop the window, it will seamlessly adopt the combined dimensions of all selected zones*! If you move a window that was previously resized into a zone by SnapZones, it will automatically revert to its old dimensions for a smoother experience. SnapZones is added to your login items, so it starts automatically whenever you log in, ensuring it’s always ready to help you stay productive. SnapZones remembers your layout configuration for each of your displays. Whether you're working from home or the office, you can set up and save layouts for every display! Plug in your MacBook at home, and SnapZones will automatically apply your home display configuration. Head to the office, connect your MacBook, and your workplace layout will be ready instantly! *Note: Due to macOS limitations, some windows have fixed dimensions and cannot be resized. Additionally, certain windows may have minimum width or height requirements, which could prevent them from fitting into smaller zones.
