The idea behind the Khitmeh is to allow people from all over the world to get together and enjoy reading Quran. Not only that, they will feel the satisfaction of sharing a khitmeh with people they do not know who are all gathered for the the same purpose, for the sake of ALLAH only. The khitmeh idea is about finishing a complete lecture of the 30 parts of the holy book while everyone gets the Ajr of the Part that he/she reads inshallah.
